BOOK OF FORMS #1
I work on paper as a preparatory/exploratory stage a of any given body of work. While these are all perfectly finished and autonomous pieces in their own right I have com to see them as collections. Additionally, I tend to work in groups of two to four pieces, often having one piece be the seed for the next, which gives a sequential aspect to them, which is why I like to think of them as "books". They are not organized by year but rather by when they were exhibited.
Book of Forms #1 collects works from 2018 and 2017. These works were exhibited at the gallery ASPA Contemporary in 2018.
