2017
Of People, Colors & Things is a personal project that started with a series of loose illustrations that had no particular purpose; all they had in common was the style, black outline and flat color backgrounds, done with some new gouache I was trying out. I found them as I was tidying up my studio later one day and wondered what they were about. So I decided to write small scenes to accompany each one... and I soon realized that a bigger story was starting to develop, so I kept writing... and drawing. Below are the eight original illustrations with their respective scenes.
